Ddly Dozen is a 2001 World War II oriented squad-based first-person shooter game developed by nFusion Interactive. The title refers to the famous World War II The Dirty Dozen. As in the , the main protagonists are military misfits sentenced to dth or long term imprisonment who are given a chance to redeem themselves by going on dangerous missions. The twelve characters have different specializations: sniper, demolition expert and so on. For every mission, the player selects four of the characters who form the squad. The game consists of a string of squad missions set in the Europn thter.

On December 12th, 1941, eral Dwight D. Eisenhower ordered Major Quintin Maxwell, the Army's lding expert on commando/unconventional warfare, to form a small special operations group to be designated as the 1st Special Missions Unit. After 12 weeks of intense training under Major Maxwell, this group of twelve hardcases were forged into an elite fighting force capable of taking on any mission, no matter how impossible, and succeeding. In order to prove his unit's capabilities, Maxwell invited Eisenhower and his staff to see for themselves first hand during a training exercise. Maxwell's unit preformed so effectively that there was no doubt about their ability to take on the impossible and succeed. Impressed, eral Eisenhower referred to them as "The ddliest twelve men I've ever seen - Thank God they are on our side!" Thus the led of The Ddly Dozen was born.
